About the Clinic
The Psychological Assessment program offers comprehensive psychological evaluations for a variety of needs. These evaluations are performed by doctoral clinical practicum students. The assessment process is closely supervised by director Barbara M. Paulillo, Psy.D., who is a licensed psychologist and director of clinical services at Community Psychological Services.

Community Psychological Services offers comprehensive psychological evaluations for a variety of needs including

  • Probation Case-Plan Assessments
  • Gifted Evaluations
  • Evaluations for students’ disability accommodations at high school, college and ACT, SAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, GED examinations
  • Comprehensive Evaluations (Cognitive and Personality)
  • Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder Evaluation
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder Evaluation

Comprehensive Evaluations
After the testing is complete, your clinician will generate a comprehensive evaluation report. This report will consist of all the client’s relevant history (obtained during the intake interview at the first appointment), the results of the testing, diagnoses (if applicable), and recommendations.

The client will meet with their clinician for a feedback session, during which they will be able to go over the information contained in the report.

  • Elementary and High Schools develop an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

What is testing like?
A comprehensive psychological evaluation takes approximately 12-15 hours to complete. Clients will meet with their clinician approximately two to three times for three-hour blocks or more of time. Once the evaluation is complete, the client will receive a report and feedback in approximately four- to six-weeks.

Comprehensive evaluations are charged a $500 fee ($675 if ASD must be ruled out). The fee includes the intake, test administration and interpretation, comprehensive report and a feedback session when the assessment findings are reviewed.
