Join The Scott Center for Autism Treatment and our Director of Telehealth, Boyd Mark, as he presents “The Role of Telehealth in Diagnosing and Treating Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder” at mHealth 2019 World Healthcare Congress in Boston, MA on July 31-August 1, 2019.

The presentation will cover the telehealth as a viable treatment option for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). People diagnosed with ASD need consistent care and therapy from specialists trained to treat this condition. Unfortunately, many families do not have specialized therapists in their area, live too far away, or find treatment services inaccessible based on their circumstances. As more individuals are diagnosed every year, the traditional health care system will increasingly fall short in supporting these people.

Telehealth intervention for autism has been shown to be effective and is a highly scalable solution that can dramatically increase access to care for many people.
